The International Department of Tsinghua High School participated in the "Seoul United Nations Model Conference"
From November 24 to 26, 2016, 15 teachers and students from the International Department of Tsinghua High School attended the annual "Model United Nations Conference" in Seoul, Korea.。The three-day conference was attended by more than 600 students from around the world."Make new friends, don't forget old friends", the international students in the conference, but also harvest their new friendship。

The theme of this year's UN Model Conference is "Embracing Diversity"。The representatives of the International Department of Tsinghua Affiliated High School also came from different grades (4 in Grade 10, 5 in Grade 11, 4 in Grade 12).。They were assigned to participate in discussions in 12 different venues, including UNEP and the Security Council。Eric Wu, who served as the secretary of the conference, was the assistant to the President of the Economic and Social Council。

The students were eager to compete and offer their own ideas on their own issues。During the short three days, they discussed a variety of current social issues, including universal female education and food and clothing。Among them, the student representatives of the International Department spoke 16 times and asked 72 questions, actively participating in the whole discussion。

In addition to attending the meeting, the International team also came to the famous scenic spot of Insa-dong in Seoul to visit。With singing, games, and barbecues, the students had a wonderful Thanksgiving overseas。
